Ingredients/Components

• Crisco
• sugar - 3 c
• cake flour - 3 c
• cocoa - 4 Tbsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• sweet milk - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 Tbsp
• eggs - 6 item

How to make chocolate pound cake:

Sift dry ingredients and set aside. Cream Crisco until soft. Add sugar slowly and beat until creamy. Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla and mix at low speed. Add flour mixture and milk alternately. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
