  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • Crisco - 1 c

How to make chocolate pound cake:

Sift together the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. In large bowl, cream together the Crisco, butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time; blend after each addition. Add flour mixture. Add milk last. Pour into greased tube pan and bake for 1 hour
