How to make chocolate pound cake:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each. Add melted chocolate. Sift flour and add alternately with buttermilk. Add vanilla; beat well. Bake in a well-greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour at 350°.Chocolate Icing:2 c. sugar2 (1 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate sq.1/4 c. Karo syrup (white)1/4 c. Carnation milk1/4 c. sweet milk1 stick oleo dash of salt1/2 tsp. vanilla Melt chocolate and butter. Add other ingredients. Bring to a boil; boil for 1 minute (time after all is bubbling).
