- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cocoa - 1/3 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1/3 c
- sticks oleo soft - 2 item
How to make chocolate pound cake:
Cream oleo, Crisco and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Mix together flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder. Add alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake 325° about 1 1/2 hours or until done. Cool in pan. Invert on cake plate. Add Chocolate Pound Cake Glaze.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
