  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • eggs, separated - 3 item
  • cocoa - 2 Tbsp
  • baked pie shell - 1 item

How to make chocolate pie:

Sift cocoa, flour and sugar together. Mix well. Add milk and egg yolks. (Set egg whites aside for meringue.)

Cook all ingredients in pan on medium heat, stirring often until thick. Add butter and vanilla. Mix well and pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue. Bake until meringue browns.
