  • sugar
  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • flour
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • evaporated milk
  • water - 1 c
  • egg yolks - 3 item
  • cocoa - 3 Tbsp
  • egg whites - 3 item
  • browned pie shell - 1 item

How to make chocolate pie:

Bring to a boil in a saucepan water and butter. Add next 6 ingredients to water, stirring constantly, until smooth and thick. Pour into browned pie shell.

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon vanilla. Put on top of pie and brown in oven.
