Chocolate pecan pie



  • crushed pecans - 1/2 1
  • vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 3 Tbsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • self-rising flour - 1/4 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • stick oleo or butter - 1 item
  • unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item

How to make chocolate pecan pie:

Melt butter in pot on low heat. Add cocoa; stir well. Add sugar and flour; mix well. Remove from heat. Add eggs and vanilla flavoring; mix well. Add pecans; stir. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 300° for 30 minutes, or until side is set and middle is not hard. Cool; serve with Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream. Makes 1 pie.
