Chocolate-pecan brownies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- flour - 3/4 c
- butter - 1/3 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- large eggs - 2 item
How to make chocolate-pecan brownies:
Set oven to 325°. In small bowl, mix flour and baking soda. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, butter and water; bring to the boil over medium heat. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 cup of morsels and the vanilla until smooth. Transfer mixture to a medium bowl and cool completely. Stir in eggs one at a time, beating well. Gradually stir in flour mixture until smooth. Stir in remaining morsels and nuts. Pour batter into a greased 9-inch square baking pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until a pick inserted in middle comes out clean. Cool and cut into squares.
