Chocolate pecan bars
Ingredients/Components
- unsifted flour
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
- unsweetened cocoa - 1/2 c
- cold margarine or butter - 1 c
- can sweetened condensed milk - 1 oz
- egg - 1 item
- vanilla extract - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans
How to make chocolate pecan bars:
Preheat oven to 350° (325° for glass dish). In large bowl, combine flour, sugar and cocoa; cut in margarine until crumbly. Press firmly into bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake 15 minutes.Meanwhile, in medium bowl, beat sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla. Stir in pecans. Spread evenly over baked crust. Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Cut into bars. Store covered in refrigerator. Makes 36 bars.
