Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 3 item
- chopped pecans
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- margarine, softened - 1/2 c
- powdered sugar - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- chopped peanuts - 4 Tbsp
- creamy peanut butter - 1/2 c
- Add chopped peanuts
How to make chocolate peanut butter cake:
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl; mix well. Add chopped peanuts. Pour batter into 3 greased and floured 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool in pans. Remove. Frost with Chocolate Peanut Butter Icing.Chocolate Peanut Butter Frosting:1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels1/2 c. margarine1/2 c. powdered sugar1 1/3 c. creamy peanut butter4 Tbsp. chopped peanuts Melt chocolate morsels in water over pan; set aside. Combine rest of ingredients in a bowl; beat on medium speed of mixer. Add melted chocolate to peanut butter mixture. Beat until smooth.
