Chocolate peanut butter brownies
Ingredients/Components
- 1 oz - 2 sq
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- sugar - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- confectioners sugar
- creamy peanut butter - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine, softened - 1/4 c
- light cream or milk - 2 3
- semi-sweet chocolate
How to make chocolate peanut butter brownies:
Filling:1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar1/2 c. creamy peanut butter1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened2 to 3 Tbsp. light cream or milk Glaze:1 sq. semi-sweet chocolate1 Tbsp. butter or margarine Melt chocolate and butter in small saucepan over low heat; set aside. In mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light brown. Add flour and melted chocolate. Stir well. Pour into a greased 9-inch square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until done. Cool.Filling: Beat confectioners sugar, peanut butter and butter in mixing bowl. Stir in cream until mixture reaches spreading consistency. Spread over cooled brownies. Cover and chill until firm. Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over filling. Chill before cutting. Yield: 5 dozen.
