Chocolate nut balls
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- coconut - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- sifted powdered sugar - 1 c
- 6 oz - 1 c
How to make chocolate nut balls:
Melt in saucepan the chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring frequently. Remove pan from heat. Cool to lukewarm. Beat in egg until smooth and glossy. Add sugar, vanilla and salt; mix well. Stir in 1/2 coconut. Chill 1 hour. Roll into 1-inch balls, then coat in balance of coconut. Chill 3 hours until firm on cookie sheet in refrigerator.
