Chocolate mousse
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- stick margarine - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 1 c
- cold milk - 3 c
- pecans - 1 c
- large bowl Cool Whip - 1 item
- 5 instant chocolate or vanilla pudding - 2 boxes
How to make chocolate mousse:
First Layer: Melt butter. Cool and add nuts and flour. Press into 10 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Cool.Second Layer: Cream sugar and cream cheese well. Add 1/2 Cool Whip to the mixture. Reserve other half for topping.
Third Layer: Mix pudding according to directions on package but only use 3 cups milk
Fourth Layer: Top with remaining Cool Whip. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Chill 3 to 4 hours. Also freezes well.
