Chocolate mousse
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 6 oz
- rum - 1 Tbsp
- heavy cream, whipped - 2 c
- hot, strong coffee - 1/3 c
How to make chocolate mousse:
In a blender, blend chocolate chips and coffee until chocolate is melted. Add eggs and rum and blend until smooth. In a chilled bowl, whip 1 cup heavy cream until it holds stiff peaks; fold into chocolate mixture. Transfer to dessert glasses and chill for 30 minutes. Garnish with extra whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Serves 4. (Recipe can not be doubled.)Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, < 15 mins.
