Chocolate mint squares
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 1/4 c
- confectioners sugar
- heavy cream - 2 Tbsp
- unsweetened chocolate - 2 oz
- margarine - 1/2 c
- sweet chocolate - 2 oz
- peppermint flavor - 3/4 tsp
- drop green food coloring - 1 item
How to make chocolate mint squares:
Melt chocolate and margarine, then mix eggs and sugar. Then add nuts and flour. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes in 8 x 8-inch greased pan.When cool, mix confectioners sugar, 3 tablespoons margarine, heavy cream, peppermint flavor and food coloring. Spread on baked cake.
Melt sweet chocolate and margarine. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Drizzle over cake.
