Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 4 item
- flour - 1 c
- water - 1 Tbsp
- can chocolate syrup - 1 item
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- oleo, softened - 1/2 c
- oleo - 1/2 c
- drops green food coloring - 3 item
- mint extract - 1/2 tsp
- Topping:6 Tbsp
- Top should spring back when touched lightly; do not overbake
How to make chocolate mint bars:
Mix together and bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Top should spring back when touched lightly; do not overbake. Cool completely, then spread with mint layer.Mint Cream:2 c. powdered sugar1/2 c. oleo1 Tbsp. water1/2 tsp. mint extract3 drops green food coloring Beat together until smooth.Topping:6 Tbsp. oleo1 c. chocolate chips Melt oleo and chips together until smooth, then spread over mint layer.
