  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • water - 1 c
  • baking powder
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • unsweetened cocoa - 1/2 c
  • mayo - 1 c

How to make chocolate mayonnaise cake:

Grease and flour a 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Mix and sift flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and soda into a large mixing bowl. Stir in mayo. Gradually stir in water and vanilla until smooth and blended. Pour into pans. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool completely.
