Chocolate marshmallow brownies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- butter
- evaporated milk - 4 Tbsp
- cocoa - 2 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar - 2 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- nuts, chopped - 1 c
- to 12 large marshmallows approximately - 10 item
How to make chocolate marshmallow brownies:
Fudge Sauce:4 Tbsp. butter4 Tbsp. evaporated milk2 c. confectioners sugar1/4 c. cocoa Melt together the margarine and cocoa. Beat the eggs and sugar together; mix in the cocoa and margarine. Add the flour, salt, nuts and vanilla. Pour into a 9 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Cut the large marshmallows in half and place the cut side down on the hot cake as soon as it comes out of the oven, then pour the fudge sauce over the top of everything while the sauce is hot. Let it cool completely before cutting. The recipe can be easily doubled for a crowd.To prepare the fudge sauce: Bring the butter and milk to a boil; add the sugar and cocoa and beat quickly. Pour when hot.
