Chocolate lace cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1/4 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 2/3 c
- chocolate chips - 2 c
- light corn syrup - 1/4 c
- rolled oats - 2 c
- white flour - 2/3 c
How to make chocolate lace cookies:
Preheat oven to 375°. Melt butter in saucepan and remove from heat. Stir in the oats, flour, corn syrup, milk, vanilla and salt. Mix well.Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 3 inches apart onto foil-lined cookie sheets. Press thin with a rubber spatula. Bake 5 to 7 minutes only. Cool in fridge and peel foil away from cookies.
Over hot water, melt chips and stir smooth. Spread chocolate on the flat side of half the cookies, then top with remaining half.
