- stick butter - 1 item
- jar marshmallow cream - 1 item
- large can evaporated milk - 1 item
- bag chocolate bits - 1 (12
How to make chocolate fudge:
In heavy saucepan, combine sugar, milk and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until soft ball forms when tested in cold water. Remove from heat. Add chocolate bits and marshmallow. Stir until combined. Pour into buttered pan. Cool; cut into blocks. Nuts may be added same time as marshmallows. Makes about 5 pounds.Note: Always put your water for testing on counter when starting your fudge. In winter, water is too cold from faucet.
