Ingredients/Components
- vanilla extract - 3/4 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- water - 1/4 c
- cocoa - 1/4 c
- sifted powdered sugar - 3 c
How to make chocolate frosting:
Combine butter and water in a medium saucepan over low heat. Cook until butter melts. Combine remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add butter mixture; beat until smooth. Yields about 1 1/2 cups.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
