Chocolate frosting



  • vanilla extract - 3/4 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • water - 1/4 c
  • cocoa - 1/4 c
  • sifted powdered sugar - 3 c

How to make chocolate frosting:

Combine butter and water in a medium saucepan over low heat. Cook until butter melts. Combine remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add butter mixture; beat until smooth. Yields about 1 1/2 cups.
