Chocolate drop cookies
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- shortening - 1 c
- all-purpose flour
- nut meats - 1/2 c
- well beaten eggs - 2 item
- powdered sugar or more - 1/2 c
- sweet or sour milk - 1 c
- hot coffee or hot water - 3 Tbsp
- Add eggs; blend
How to make chocolate drop cookies:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs; blend. Sift dry ingredients together. Add dry mixture alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Blend well. Drop from teaspoon 2-inches apart on greased sheet pan. Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes. Don't overbake.
