Chocolate delight
Ingredients/Components
- 1/2 sticks margarine - 1 item
- self-rising flour
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- Cool Whip - 1 c
- sifted powdered sugar - 1 c
- instant chocolate pudding mix any flavor may be used - 2 pkg
- milk whole milk - 3 c
- vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
- brown sugar can be omitted - 1 tsp
How to make chocolate delight:
Melt margarine in saucepan. Remove from stove and add flour and nuts. Spread in a 10 x 13-inch Pyrex. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Cool. (Baking time may vary.) Cream the cream cheese, Cool Whip and powdered sugar. Spread on cooled crust. Mix chocolate pudding mix, milk, vanilla and brown sugar with mixer until pudding stage (not too thick). Spread on cream cheese mixture. Cover with an 8 ounce container Cool Whip.(One of the large containers of Cool Whip is enough for the part for the cream cheese mixture and the topping. That way you don't have to buy 2 containers of Cool Whip and have the other ruin.)
