  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • confectioners sugar - 1 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • unsweetened chocolate, melted - 4 oz

How to make chocolate crinkles:

In large mixing bowl, mix butter, melted chocolate and sugar. Blend in one egg at a time; add vanilla. Stir flour, baking powder and salt into chocolate mixture. Chill overnight in refrigerator. Heat oven to 325°. Roll dough into small balls and dip into powdered sugar. Put on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Do not overbake. Mixture can be made up and put in refrigerator and used as desired. Size of cookie, half dollar. While cookies are baking, remainder of dough should be returned to refrigerator.
