Chocolate crinkles



  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • confectioners sugar - 1 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1/2 c
  • 4 oz - 4 sq

How to make chocolate crinkles:

Mix oil, chocolate and granulated sugar. Blend in one egg at a time until well mixed. Add vanilla. Measure flour by dipping method or by sifting. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt into oil mixture. Chill several hours or overnight. Heat oven to 350°. Drop teaspoons of dough into confectioners sugar, roll in sugar. Shape into balls. Place about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Do not overbake.
