- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 2 c
- chocolate chips - 1 c
- shortening - 1/4 c
How to make chocolate covered marshmallows:
You will also need 50 sturdy wooden picks.Place chocolate chips and shortening in a 2-cup measure. Cook at 50% power for 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes or until chips are shiny and soft. Stir until smooth. Place nuts in shallow dish. Insert pick in tip of each marshmallow. Dip in chocolate to cover completely. Roll in nuts, coating about 3/4 the way up. Set on wax paper.
