Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/3 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- white sugar - 1/3 c
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
- butter soft - 4 oz
- toasted oatmeal* - 1/2 c
- dark, semi-sweet chocolate chunks - 6 oz
- roasted pecans optional - 1 c
How to make chocolate chunk cookies:
*To toast: Spread onto shallow pan and toast at 350°, just until oatmeal begins to change color, 5 to 10 minutes. Watch closely. Preheat oven to 325°. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat until smoothRecipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
