- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
How to make chocolate chip pound cake:
Cream the butter and shortening. Add sugar. Add eggs singly, beating after each one. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Add flour mixture alternately with milk. Add flavoring. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Mix well with a wooden spoon. Pour into greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.
