- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- flour
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- hot water - 1 Tbsp
- white sugar - 3/4 c
- quick oatmeal - 2 c
How to make chocolate chip oatmeal cookies:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs; beat well. Dissolve baking soda in hot water, then add to mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients; beat well. Add chocolate chips last. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
