  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 3/4 c
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 1 Tbsp
  • melted butter - 1/2 c
  • boiling water
  • quick oats - 1 c

How to make chocolate chip oatmeal cake:

Pour water over oats and set aside for ten minutes. Cream sugar, brown sugar and butter. Add dry ingredients, oats and half of chocolate chips. Mix well. Top with remaining chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. May be topped with whipped topping.
