Chocolate chip cookies
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- granulated sugar - 2/3 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- flour
- brown sugar - 2/3 c
- water - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- oleo or shortening - 1 c
- butter flavored vanilla - 1/2 tsp
How to make chocolate chip cookies:
Blend shortening and sugars. Add vanilla, water and eggs. After thoroughly mixing, add chocolate chips and nuts. Then, by hand, stir in flour, baking powder and soda. When all ingredients are thoroughly mixed, you can either drop by spoon onto ungreased cookie sheets or press into lightly greased jelly roll pan and bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375°. (If you use the jelly roll pan, the cooking time needs to be extended 5 to 10 minutes longer.)Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
