Chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients/Components

• butter, softened - 1 c
• sugar - 3/4 c
• eggs - 2 item
• pkg - 1 oz
• vanilla extract
• salt
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• baking soda
• unsifted flour
• firmly packed brown sugar - 3/4 c

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Preheat oven to 375°. In small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, combine the butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 100 (2-inch) cookies.
