- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 3/4 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- water - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
How to make chocolate chip cookies:
Beat butter, shortening, sugars, vanilla, water and eggs until light and fluffy. Mix flour with soda and salt; blend into butter mixture. Stir in chips. Drop 2 inches apart from teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
