Chocolate chip cookies
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/3 c
- margarine or butter, softened - 1/3 c
- all-purpose flour or whole wheat flour *
- chopped nuts only if you want - 1/2 c
How to make chocolate chip cookies:
Heat oven to 375°. Mix sugars, shortening, egg and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
