  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 5 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • oil - 1 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • margarine - 1 c
  • cream of tartar - 2 tsp
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • nuts if desired - 1 item

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Cream the first 5 items. Add the rest. Drop by teaspoonfuls. Flatten some. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
