  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • chocolate chips - 8 oz
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • white sugar - 1/2 c

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Mix shortening, butter and both sugars until creamy. Add eggs. Mix salt and soda with flour and then into mixture. Add vanilla and then chocolate chips. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
