eggs - 2 item
granulated sugar - 3/4 c
packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
vanilla extract - 1 tsp
salt - 1 tsp
baking soda - 1 tsp
all-purpose flour
chopped nuts optional - 1 c
12 oz - 2 c
Crisco butter flavor, softened - 1 c

How to make chocolate chip cookies:

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large bowl. Add eggs. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoonful onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375° for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 5 dozen.
