Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • chocolate chips depending on how much you like chocolate - 1 2

How to make chocolate chip cake:

Crumb flour, sugar and margarine and set aside 1 cup for topping. Add egg, milk, soda and vanilla to the remaining crumb mixture. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle the 1 cup of reserved crumbs on top of batter. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top next. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Test for doneness with toothpick.
