Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1 c
- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 12 oz
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
- Beat in sugar
How to make chocolate chip cake:
Cream butter and cream cheese. Beat in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Use 1/4 cup of flour to dredge chips. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325°.Cream Cheese Frosting:8 oz. cream cheese1/2 stick butter1 tsp. vanilla1 box confectioners sugar Mix ingredients well.
