Chocolate chip brownies

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• shortening - 1/2 c
• firmly packed dark brown sugar - 2 c
• 6 oz - 1 pkg
• nuts as desired - 1/2 c

How to make chocolate chip brownies:

Cream together eggs, brown sugar and shortening. Add flour, soda, baking powder, vanilla and salt. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 27 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely before cutting.
