How to make chocolate cherry cake:

Glaze:1 c. sugar1/3 c. milk1/2 stick plus 1 Tbsp. margarine6 oz. chocolate chips Beat eggs and extract together. Add cake mix and cherry pie filling. Blend well. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cool slightly. Cover with glaze.

Glaze: Combine sugar, margarine and milk together in saucepan, stirring constantly. Bring to boil. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and add chips. Stir until melted and pour over cake.
