Chocolate caramels
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- molasses - 1 c
- nuts if desired - 1 item
- grated chocolate - 1 c
How to make chocolate caramels:
Cook molasses, sugar and butter until it forms a soft ball in cold water. Add chocolate and cook 3 minutes longer. Pour into shallow buttered tins. When nearly cold, cut in squares. Nuts may be added at the last if desired.Recipe categories: Chocolate, Broil/grill, < 30 mins.
