  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • milk - 6 Tbsp
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • water - 1 c
  • cocoa - 2 Tbsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • self-rising flour - 2 c
  • box confectioners sugar - 1 item
  • sticks butter - 2 item

How to make chocolate cake:

Frosting:1 c. sugar1 stick margarine6 Tbsp. milk1/4 c. water4 Tbsp. cocoa1 box confectioners sugar1/2 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped pecans Cake: Sift flour, baking soda and sugar together. Bring water, cocoa and butter to a boil; mix with above. Add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes in a greased 14 x 10 x 2 1/2-inch pan.

Frosting: Bring margarine, milk, water and cocoa to boil. Remove and mix with other ingredients. Pour over warm cake.
