- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 7 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- In a saucepan, put the oleo, Crisco, water and cocoa
How to make chocolate cake:
In a large bowl, put the sugar and flour. In a saucepan, put the oleo, Crisco, water and cocoa. Bring saucepan ingredients to a boil. Add to sugar and flour. Mix well and add the eggs and buttermilk with the soda dissolved in it. Beat well. Pour in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° to 400° for 30 minutes.Icing:1 stick oleo7 Tbsp. milk3 Tbsp. cocoa1 tsp. vanilla1 box powdered sugar In a saucepan, bring the oleo, milk and cocoa to a boil. Add the vanilla.
