Chocolate cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 7 Tbsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• flour - 2 c
• water - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• cocoa - 3 Tbsp
• buttermilk - 1/2 c
• powdered sugar - 1 lb
• margarine, melted - 2 c
• Mix well together eggs, soda, buttermilk and vanilla

How to make chocolate cake:

Sift together flour, sugar and salt. Mix well together eggs, soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Melt and mix together margarine, cocoa and 1 cup water. Bring to boil. Pour egg mixture into flour mixture; mix well. Add margarine mixture and mix well. Spray 15 1/2 x 11 x 1 1/2-inch pan with Pam. Pour mixture into pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. One-half cup milk and 1/2 teaspoon vinegar = 1/2 cup buttermilk.)Frosting:1 cube margarine, melted3 Tbsp. cocoa7 Tbsp. milk1 lb. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped nuts Mix well together margarine, cocoa and milk. Pour over powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Mix well over low heat until smooth. Pour over warm cake.
