- Wesson oil
- eggs - 3 item
- 1 can beets any cut
- sugar - 2 c
- flour - 2 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- powdered sugar
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 4 5
How to make chocolate beet cake:
Icing for Beet Cake:2 2/3 c. powdered sugar6 Tbsp. butter1 tsp. vanilla4 to 5 Tbsp. milk1/2 c. cocoa Put eggs, oil and beets in blender. Add sugar and mix well. In a bowl, combine salt, soda, cocoa and flour. Add blender ingredients and mix well. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan 40 to 50 minutes. Keep in refrigerator after frosting.Icing: Mix all together. Beat until spreading consistency.
