Chocolate applesauce bread

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 3/4 tsp
• eggs - 3 item
• salt - 3/4 tsp
• flour - 4 c
• baking soda
• chocolate chips - 1/2 c
• unsweetened cocoa - 4 Tbsp
• applesauce - 3 c
• 1/2 sticks oleo - 1 item

How to make chocolate applesauce bread:

Heat oven to 350°. Cream sugar and butter. Beat eggs well, then applesauce. Sift flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and cocoa. Mix all together. Pour in 3 buttered pans. Fill about 3/4 full. Sprinkle top with chips. Bake about 1 hour. Insert knife in center; when it comes out clean, it's baked. Let cool on wire rack. Makes 3 loaves.
