Chinese salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- toasted sesame seed - 1 pkg
- white vinegar - 4 Tbsp
- head chopped lettuce - 1 item
- sliced, toasted almonds - 1 pkg
- assorted vegetables, chopped fine - 1 item
How to make chinese salad:
Dressing:4 Tbsp. sugar1/4 tsp. pepper1/4 c. vegetable oil2 tsp. salt4 Tbsp. white vinegar Prepare lettuce and vegetables as for a tossed salad. Set aside sesame seed and almonds.For dressing, heat first four ingredients. Remove from heat and stir in the vegetable oil.
Pour dressing over the salad just before serving. Sprinkle almonds and seed over the top.
