Chinese pepper steak



  • salt - 1 Tbsp
  • flour - 4 Tbsp
  • cold water - 1/2 c
  • hot water - 1 c
  • garlic powder - 1 clove
  • soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • fat - 2 Tbsp
  • beef bouillon cubes - 2 item
  • large green peppers, chopped - 2 item
  • round steak - 1 lb
  • medium size onion, cubed - 1 item
  • medium size tomatoes, cut up - 3 item

How to make chinese pepper steak:

Brown meat in fat after cutting meat into bite-size pieces. Add onion and garlic last minutes of browning. Season. Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water and add to meat. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add tomatoes and green pepper. Cook 10 minutes longer. Combine remaining ingredients and stir into meat. Bring to boil. Cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes longer. Serve over rice.
