Chinese chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- sesame seed - 2 Tbsp
- slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- cole slaw mix - 1 pkg
- chicken breasts, cooked and cubed - 3 item
- Ramen noodles chicken flavor - 1 pkg
- flavoring packet from noodles - 1/2 item
How to make chinese chicken salad:
Mix chicken breast cubes, cole slaw mix and chopped onion in a large bowl. Toast sesame seed and slivered almonds together for 7 to 8 minutes in a 350° oven until lightly browned. Add to bowl. Crumple package of Ramen noodles and add to mixture.Prepare dressing of sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and 1/2 package flavoring from noodles. Shake together. Pour over chicken mixture and toss well. Salad should be made ahead at least 2 hours.
